The big bear lodge provides a great alternative to an ordinary hotel stay, and there are lodges rentals that fit any budget.  The one I stayed in wasn?t the most expensive one they had. 

I wanted a simple one since I wasn?t really in it except when I went to sleep at night.  Most of the day you spend outside so I didn’t see the point in spending a lot of money on the lodge or cabin you stay in however, no matter which one you choose to stay in you cant really go wrong because they are all great choices.
